Reflections worked very well for you.
ReplyDeleteAlso well caught with the Risk Taker - wish we caught him being washed out.
My favourite would be Waters Edge - i just love the light coming through the clouds + reflection + water splashing - to me thats the complete package of what we saw on the day.
My fav is the building blocks, Brad, for the composition/reflection and also for conveying the sense of what once was.
ReplyDeleteThe colours in the waters edge shot is beautiful!
Thanks guys... I appreciate the opportunity to tag along... was a lot of fun!
ReplyDeletereally like the Building Blocks
ReplyDeletenice composition here Brad
I'd crop it 16:9
What a capture with the "risk taker" !! Perfect composition leading into a landscape shot which conforms to the rule of thirds, and you got a wave smashing the rocks at the same time!! Brilliant.
ReplyDeleteAll angles covered - also brilliant use of motion blur and ghosting of these restless photographers, the monochrome effect works so well here.
Your "playing with motion blur" turned out pretty neat too!
Its cool how different people spot different things though all taking photos in the same area on an ordinary lighting morning. Looking forward to the next event.
