Here's one of our son Oliver. I tried a few things with the lighting, but it wasn't really happening, so I adjusted the angle of the key light from straight on just above to off axis, camera left probably around 45 degrees and adjusted the backlight power to get even light throughout the scene and subtle / soft rim light. I just need him to help me out by lifting up his head now. Still like the shot - most of the shoot he was just happy to bury his face into the bed :)
Still will be searching for my "go to" baby lighting setup though.
I can safely (and honestly :)) say he is a good looking baby... I love that name too! My wife and I were considering it earlier on... ha ha
